“This summer, I’ve been privileged with the opportunity of interning with Communities in Schools of Atlanta, as a Reading and Literacy Skills Coach. CIS Atlanta is a non-profit organization that supports underprivileged youth in their personal and academic needs. The experience of working with young students in a collaborative learning environment has been not only been immensely insightful but has also provided me with the skills and connections necessary to pursue teaching opportunities post-graduation. Receiving the Experiential Education Stipend has supported me in my work experience with a non-profit organization, enabling me to give it my complete focus and gain hands-on experience in a career-relevant field.”
